ARZA’s Game Plan: Our Five Plays
Strengthening the Reform Movement in Israel
Nearly 30% of all money raised goes directly to the Reform Movement in Israel, strengthening congregations, the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC), and the Israel movement for Progressive and Reform Judaism (IMPJ).
Strengthening the Movement in the United States
The Rabbinic Council strengthens Zionism within the Reform Movement and works to connect Reform Jews with Israel by strengthening their Jewish identity. Kehilot Yisrael is ARZA's resource for synagogue's Israel programming. Professionals and lay leaders share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn best practices from each other. Kehilot Yisrael is free & for you!
Teaching Israel is an initiative of ARZA, the URJ, CIE, and NFTY. Teaching Israel provides peer Israel education training for alumni of the Reform Movement's Israel programs. We have assembled our first cohort in 2016 and are already inspired by their synergy.
ARZA is committed to showing you the real face of Israel. We bring political figures, social and political activists, and opinion and thought leaders to share the complex realities in Israeli society and how we, as Reform Zionists, can contribute to Israeli society.
